Craig Kohlruss is an award-winning photojournalist who has been working in the daily news business for the past 34 years. This includes his position with The Fresno Bee photography staff since 1999.

Over the years, Craig has captured many of Fresno's most iconic images by documenting its historic events, important moments and amazing people.

As a freelance photographer Craig has been providing eye-catching, professional work for dozens of clients around the area and beyond. He’s also a pretty nice guy to work with.

Craig is an expert at capturing telling moments as they happen — whether it be breaking news, events, profiles, or sports — he documents authentic visuals of real-life people in real-life situations as they happen, capturing real people doing the real things, photographed professionally and artistically.

Additionally, Craig’s super talented wife Carmen Kohlruss is an award-winning writer and journalist. They’ve teamed up numerous times on assignments as co-workers at The Fresno Bee and continue while she has transitioned to full-time freelance writing.
