Chrissy and Troy were married in the backyard of a home in the Yosemite Lakes area of Madera County where guests were treated to a perfect fall afternoon and evening. The ceremony site atop a hill overlooked the valleys below with the sun setting behind the grand oaks, giving a beautiful orange glow in the clear autumn sky. I could see that Chrissy was into wedding traditions. For her wedding, she not only had a sixpence in her shoe, every guest got one as table favor too!
It was touching to watch the bride’s face as she was escorted in with her father to see Troy holding their very dapperly dressed son, Blake, in his own infant tux. I doubt Chrissy was the only one crying as it was quite a moment.
After the happy couple was married, guests moved to the reception area where they watched Chrissy and Troy take their first dance as husband and wife . A great catered dinner followed with toasts from the best man, maid of honor, mother of the groom and father of the bride.
Things got hopping with the bouquet and garter tosses, cake-cutting and then dancing into the night with MC Manual. The tasty food was provided by One Sweet Table and nice job as always by Kimberly Joy Events on making this backyard wedding so spectacular.
Chrissy and Troy are a wonderful couple and will make a great family together with little Blake. I could see that they had a lot of very loving family and friends who simply adore them both – and I can see why.
