McKencie and Felix: Reedley engagement session
Last weekend I photographed McKencie and Felix for their Reedley engagement session in several locations around the little town. I met McKencie and Felix at where they were the maid of honor and best man at Cyndi and Julio’s wedding a couple of years ago. We feel comfortable together and they like my photos from that wedding so they booked me for their wedding in Sept. 2017.
Since they are both from Reedley, we chose to find Reedley engagement session locations for their photos. We started off at Cricket Hollow Park. This is a favorite place of mine when I’m trolling for features photos while working at The Bee. I’m sure they will love sharing the photos of themselves in their FC Barcelona jerseys! While also there, they changed into some more formal clothing where we made a few more portraits. A cop even stopped traffic for us so we could make some pictures on the bridge!
From Cricket Hollow we travelled to downtown Reedley where we stopped at the Reedley Opera House and then St. Anthony of Padua Church. We walked around a little there for a few nice location spots. I made sure to get a downtown street scene shot and then something showing the water towers in the background.
I think my favorite of these Reedley engagement session locations, however, may have been the steps at St. Anthony’s church. It’s just such an easy, fun place and was filled with great light and texture. Below are just a few of the photographs I included in their package. I think they will be using them for Save the Date cards or announcements. They’re a super nice couple and I’m really looking forward to their wedding in September.
