I know Lisa from when she worked in advertising at The Fresno Bee. She came to me recently when my friend Tracy, whose wedding I photographed, recommended me to her on Facebook. So, once again it’s super special to be the wedding photographer for a friend. I really appreciate that trust.
For Lisa and Rudy’s engagement session, we met up at Friant Cove just below the Friant Dam. We made a few photos there in front of a lovely pink blooming tree and then some shots they wanted to get on Rudy’s motorcycle. From there we went around what we call “The Loop” among the cycling community to a spot among the eucalyptus grove on Auberry Road.
That was a nice location that Lisa recommended we check out because it was a cool looking little road that had very little traffic. I think we had to move just twice for cars. Because this has been such an awesome spring for rain, there was plenty of greenery to use as a backdrop. We made some fun pictures in the road, on their motorcycle, among the trees and in the long green grass growing on the hillside. We also made some cool shots of their rings on the saddle of Rudy’s motorcycle.
I’m super excited to photograph their wedding this coming September!
