Putting summer away
Saw this while getting photos of the cleanup at the Fresno Fairgrounds Monday. The Big Fresno Fair ended its run on Sunday and Monday crews were out putting everyone away and cleaning up the mess. With October being one of the nicer months of the year, I couldn’t help but think that as this sun gets tucked away in a truck, so will the warm days of summer. Goodbye summer, hello fall.

Gen. Vang Pao vigil
This is an image I did for the Fresno Bee after General Vang Pao’s death in Clovis last winter. This was at a vigil that was done at Fresno’s Courthouse Park in traditional Hmong methods where a lot of incense and candles were used. It came before his funeral which went on for days at the Convention Center in downtown Fresno.
