I am so fortunate to make a living with my camera. Being able to meet so many great people and capture such special and important moments in their lives means everything to me. It’s a huge responsibility that I take very seriously.

I have a lifetime of experience making important pictures. I bought my first SLR in 7th grade and continued my interest in photography through high school and into college. I graduated from San Jose State with a degree in photojournalism and began working at The Appeal-Democrat newspaper in 1989. Ten years later I moved on to The Fresno Bee where I still work shooting news, features and sports everyday. In 2008 I started my photography business shooting weddings and freelance editorial assignments.
